No expense has been spared in creating the perfect space for our guests. Rusty's Retreat was built by the preeminent tiny house builder in the US, Escape Homes and features every upgrade available. This stylish, yet warm and cozy space offers all the amenities for a perfect getaway, including a well-stocked kitchen, complimentary coffee, on-demand hot water, a state of the art climate control system, 2 fold down desks and even a fancy TV that magically rises from the foot of the bed with a single touch of the remote. Flanked on 3 sides with large plate glass windows, you'll feel like you're camping under the stars minus the bugs, humidity, lumpy sleeping area and "digging a hole" when nature calls. :) The property has a mesh wifi system that connects to a dedicated fiber optic internet connection, so Rusty's is the perfect spot to watch Netflix or work remotely. You'll also enjoy a dedicated parking spot at the front of our main property and the house is less than 100' feet away. Other Details to Note

Rusty' Retreat is nestled on the backside of our primary AirBnB property, as well as another luxury tiny home. This is primarily so that the house can enjoy high-speed internet and also be plumbed into the property's septic system (don't worry, you'll have a flushing water toilet just like at home). The property is generally very quiet during the week as the main house is usually only occupied on weekends. Bringing an unauthorized pet will result in an additional $150 cleaning fee (what our cleaning crew charges to us). In the warmer months, we require guests to the main house to adhere to a 10pm quiet hour requirement for their outdoor space.

This spot is the perfect “tiny home” experience and conveniently located close to the south entrance of Shenandoah National Park! Also, the yard space was perfect for two dogs. The only thing to be aware of is the hot water — I definitely experienced all four seasons at once while using the shower, but thankfully ended in summer (the water was warm, then a cold shock, freezing, but then stayed hot). Otherwise, this was a great stay and we will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area! :)

Jeremy's tiny home was awesome. My Fiancé and I were close to all the breweries and wineries. There is a Dollar General close by where you can grab quick snaps and the essentials. I loved the coffee that was provided and the mattress was extremely comfortable. We visited during a cold spell, but we are already thinking about coming back in the summer. Also, the bathroom has it's own heater and it was great during the cold day when you wanted to shower.

Rusty’s retreat was exactly what we were looking for! It was a beautiful area, and everything in the cabin was great. A little tight but that’s what we were expecting. It’s close to town and the Blue Ridge Parkway, so you’re not too far from anything you’d need while you’re there. Jeremy was very helpful and friendly too, we’d love to come back!

Rusty’s retreat was great! While it’s secluded it’s still only a few minutes away from some great restaurants as well as gas stations and grocery stores. Also within a half hour of some beautiful look overs on the Shenandoah mountains. There is a community center near the entrance of the neighborhood that was nice as well. The tiny home is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet getting or even a single person wanting to stay. We’d definitely go back again.

Jeremy was an excellent host. His place is incredible. It was a perfect two day escape for my wife and me. We were able to see the wineries and get some really good hikes in. The place is immaculate andand the fire pit outside was the perfect way to end each day.
